Home Renovations in guelph and surrounding areas

After researching and interviewing 5 building contractors, we hired Emerald Renovations to renovate 600 square feet of our existing home and to construct 2 additions (totalling 700 square feet) to the house.
From start to finish, the project lasted approximately 3 ½ months, during which time our family of 4 continued to live in the house. Without the courtesy, respect and co-operation of all the tradesmen involved, this would have been very difficult. Without exception, the men hired by Jeff were considerate and pleasant to have around.
Because of the extent of the construction and our attention to details, we were probably not among the easiest clients to work for! Jeff and his staff were extremely patient and accommodating of our needs and changes of plans. Jeff is a very low-key individual whose presence is virtually invisible on a daily basis. However the scheduling of the myriad of jobs that had to be completed in sequence and on time, was arranged with an iron hand, operating behind the scenes. Jeff was also readily available to meet with us at very short notice to discuss any concerns or questions we had. He was responsive to our needs and quick to remedy any problems we encountered.
Weather in the fall precluded rapid progress initially but, as soon as it was feasible, Jeff hired an additional crew to get the project back on schedule. The job was completed within the estimated time and with a quality of workmanship that would be hard to surpass. We are extremely pleased with the finished product and have no hesitation recommending Emerald Renovations to anyone considering a renovation or construction project.

It is now just over a year since you completed the work on our new addition and we felt we should say how pleased we are. We had planned an addition for several years and you assisted us in making the dream come true. Our family and friends cannot believe that the appearance of the house could be improved to such an extent.
When planning a major change there are obvious concerns. Your assistance and suggestions allowed us to proceed with more confidence. From the initial meetings, quotations, construction and follow-up we could not have asked for any greater cooperation.
As construction progressed and changes from the original plan seemed to be more advantageous, you took the time to explain the possibilities and pitfalls. The men that you had on the job were most co-operative and we were inconvenienced for a relatively short time even thought our kitchen had to be totally removed. This inconvenience was at our insistence since they wanted to work around us.
The timing of all the subcontractors was extremely well handled and we were in our finished house within the timelines you had originally suggested. 
We would not hesitate in recommending you and your firm to anyone wanting major renovations.

Thank you so much for giving us the kitchen and main floor we have always dreamed of. You and your team exceeded our expectations in every way. I keep saying you have been a dream to work with. From the very first day we spoke right up until completion, you treated us like we were your only clients and you went above and beyond in so many ways.

You got to know us and how we wanted to use our space. You even came up with an idea the evening before leaving on your vacation; every detail mattered to you and that is a huge point of difference.

Your design ideas were amazing, especially with the bulkheads, which makes this a signature Emerald kitchen.
